Develop a solution approach to mitigate vehicular congestion with a Geometric Design of Vial exchange at the crossing of the five corners of Av. España, Av. Juan Pablo II, Jr. Bolognesi and Jr. Pedro Muñiz – Trujillo. Material and method: A descriptive, applied study was carried out, which includes to pedestrians and vehicles that move in the city of at the crossing of the five corners. For data collection was used, stopwatch, tape measure, and the counter application; to then be calculated with Microsoft Excel 2019 Software. Subsequently, a Geometric Design was performed, considering the of The Geometric Design Manual in Urban which will be simulated by The Vissim V9 Software. Results: In the analysis of vehicular traffic for 8 weeks it was in cars 336360 units, microbus 130769 units, combi 8816 units, motorcycles and bicycle 65645 units. Conclusions: The Geometric Design of proposed vial exchange serves as a solution to mitigate vehicular congestion at the junction of the corners of Av. España, Av. Juan Pablo II, Jr. Bolognesi and Jr. Pedro Muñiz – Trujillo; As a problem of vehicular congestion are queue distance, prolonged time of the semaphore cycle, turns, public vehicular imprudence and absence of pedestrian traffic lights. The proposal of this thesis complied with the parameters indicated in The Manual of Geometric Design of Urban roads, at the crossing of the five corners and was obtained by The Vissim V9 Software level of service is type C. It was also considered a drainage system on the road.
