The objective of the current study was to evaluate the effect of the nutritional levels on the diet over the economic and productive behavior of broiler chickens coming from Cobb 500 hens and Peruvian navaja roosters. 120 chickens of one day born old (60 males and 60 females) were used having an average weight of 47.72 g each, this birds were distributed by using a complete random design with four treatments and five repetitions, these treatments consisted on feeding with four different nutritional levels using the requirements of postural chickens on ending phase as lower level (NAP) and the requirements of fattening chickens with a high performance as a higher level (NAC). Two nutritional levels were set up between these levels: intermediate level 1 (NI1) and intermediate level 2 (NI2) wich were determinated proportionally and equidistant to the higher and lower level. The birds were evaluated for 60 days and with 5 different phases: beginning (1 to 7 days), growing 1 (8 to 21 days), growing 2 (22 - 35 days), fattening (35 to 42 days) and finish (43 to 60 days). The results were compared and analyzed by using a polynomial regression in which it was observed that during the total period (1 - 60 days) the birds treated with the NI2 showed a higher productive efficiency, obtaining a significant variation (P> 0.01) in gaining weith and feeding conversion while in food consumption a significant variation of (P> 0.05) was observed. Regarding the economic rentability, according to the cost analysis and the marginal incomes, the optimal moment of commercialization of this birds, considering the most efficient nutritional levels (NI2 and NAC) of this chikens, is at 52 days of age gaining a 66% of rentability and 48% respectively.
