In a globalized world where uncertainty is increasingly more manageable given the speed of information, communication and knowledge allows us to say that today organizations have a variety of control tools and / or measurement to make this possible. In our case, construction companies today have a “toolbox“ that allows their operations to be effective in the sense of achieving their purposes, but at the same time making an efficient use of the resources that are available. All construction work faces a series of external and internal factors that, if not controlled, limit their development. This generates a series of delays that are expressed in economic and human costs that, if not controlled, may be harmful in the long run. the viability of the company and generate discomfort and dissatisfaction in the potential users or beneficiaries of a civil construction or work. Therefore, the objective of this research work is to propose a risk management plan in the improvement of the UGEL of Santiago de Chuco, which is also in the account the control of external and internal variables that limit compliance. For this, a descriptive investigation based on field was carried out. Where it relied on the use of a representative sample of company personnel. The survey and observation are applied as a data collection technique. The results of the research work highlighted that the execution of the work assumes risks in its execution as a result of planning, management and resource failures. Therefore, a series of recommendations was proposed so that the risks can be corrected and achieve project compliance.
