In this research thesis entitled “Optimization of Technical Procedures of the Road Inventory (Basic Character) for road management on the PI-108 highway, Piura Region 2020“, the departmental highway route PI-108 in the Piura region that begins in Emp. PE - 02 A with progressive km 0 + 000 and passes through La Capilla - Tunas - Tolingas and ends in Emp. PE-03N (Dv. Huarmaca) with progressive km 61 + 370, in which it was identified that there is no road inventory of said highway, which prevents it from being managed efficiently. The Main Objective of this research is to carry out an efficient Road Management of the Departmental Highway Route PI-108, Piura Region, through the implementation of a basic road inventory. The implementation of said road inventory was carried out for ten (10) days of field work, where the forms given by the Road Inventory Manual with Directorial Resolution No. 009-2014-MTC / 14 were filled in, where data was collected such as the geolocation, dimensions and characteristics of the units that correspond to the basic road inventory, such as its critical and notable points, the road, its running surface and its passability status, the berm, its signaling and the existence of bridges. and that were subsequently worked on a GIS Geographic Information System. Subsequently, the implementation of the basic road inventory was carried out, based on the Inventory Manual and all the regulations given by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, which will make it more accessible and less cumbersome to carry out said implementation, reducing the execution time and improving the data obtained. Finally, it was possible to conclude that route PI-108 really has KM 60 + 540, it is a two-way road with 02 lanes, its running surface is in a regular state, where only approximately 1.2 km are of rigid pavement (corresponding to San Miguel del Faique) and more than 90% is affirmed, there are 29 vertical signs, of which 15 are informative, 06 are preventive and 08 are regulatory; and it is known that there are 50 speed bumps, 01 pontoon and no bridges.
