The objective of the research is to analyze the pathologies of genesis in the multifamily building El Palmar in El Golf urbanization, Victor Larco Herrera District, Trujillo, La Libertad; based on the evaluation of concrete compressive strength, the degree of deflection in beams and the identification of the level of damage in terms of segregations, fissures and cracks in structural elements, such as beams and columns according to the E.030, ACI 318-19 and ACI 224R standards. The methodology used to develop the study is of the applied type and presents a descriptive level. The analysis of structural pathologies was carried out in four stages: Symptomatology, diagnosis, therapeutic, quantitative and qualitative analysis; performing tests at 12 points distributed among the second, third, fourth and fifth levels; choosing 3 beams per level, as a sufficient sample to characterize the compressive strength of the concrete; In addition, a deflection control was carried out on the concrete beams f'c 210 kg/cm², using a self-leveling laser level, in the two largest slab sections of the second, third and fourth levels of the building; on which there are discontinuous walls that present important pathologies of genesis; finally, injury mapping work was carried out, finding the following pathologies: Concrete segregation, incomplete and irregular sections, cracking processes (genesis lesions), flexural cracking processes of beams, irregular process of constructive application of non-structural walls. Also, it was possible to recognize the pathologies present in the structure, concluding that the values of the sclerometry study exceed the compressive strength of the design values; regarding the control of deflection in beams. Finally, several improvement proposals were considered in order to correct, avoid and protect possible damages in the building.
