In the present thesis work, the degree of seismic vulnerability of the Moche highway bridge was evaluated, a reinforced concrete structure of approximately 90 meters of light, separated into 5 sections and a Gerber-type beam with variable cant, located on the PE1N national road in the districk of Moche, in the province of Trujillo, in the department of La Libertad, using the capacity spectrum method in the event of a severe earthquake. The structural model of the Moche bridge was elaborated using the CSi Bridge v.20.2.0 software to later determine its displacement capacity by means of a non linear static analysis (Pushover), random lateral loads were applied in the geometric center of the superstructure, perpendicular to the main axis, in order to know the inelastic behavior of said structure; Likewise, the recommendations described in the Bridge Manual (2018), AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications 8th edition (2017), WSDOT Bridge Design Manual (2019), CALTRANS Manual (2019) and ATC-40 (1996) were used. In order to obtain the seismic demand, a design spectrum was elaborated based on a severe earthquake with a return period of 1000 years, which served as the basis to make compatible eight seismic records that occurred off the coast of Peru using the SeismoMatch 2021 software, of this In this way, we obtained a spectrum of demand that was closer to the seismic reality of our country. We then obtained a total of 264 performance points for the bilinear representation of the capacity curve of the Moche bridge. The determination of the degree of seismic vulnerability of the Moche bridge was carried out from the generation of fragility curves through the application of the FRACAS methodology, carrying out a probabilistic analysis for various damage states under the capacity spectrum evaluator method prepared by the Committee. VISION 2000. From which we conclude that the degree of vulnerability of the Moche bridge for a severe earthquake with a return period of 1000 years is low, since there is a 59% probability of exceeding the state of damage ED1 for an acceleration of 1g; in other words, the bridge is in operational condition after the study earthquake occurred.
