The present investigation “COMPARISON OF ENERGY GRADIENT OBTAINED IN THE DISTRIBUTION NETWORK OF SAUCO ALTO AND CHINCHAYE OF THE DISTRICT OF SALPO BY DIRECT MEASUREMENT AND BY NUMERICAL MODELING”, is a impact social work where the drinking water network of the hamlet of Sauco Alto and Chinchaye. Sauco Alto and Chinchaye has a population specially dedicated to agriculture, mining and handicrafts. It has homes, church, among others. It was contemplated to carry out an analysis of the existing drinking water network and verify if it presents problems in the current network and prevent future problems. From the insitu survey it was determined that there are three catchments in Sauco alto and one in Chinchaye with flow rates of 0.40, 0.571, 0.235 L / sec. respectively. In addition, there are two reservoirs of 12 m3 each. It was analyzed with a design period of 20 years, for a population of 558 inhabitants by 2034. The maximum average flow is 0.517 L / sec, maximum daily flow of 0.672 L / sec and the maximum hourly flow of 0.931 L / sec. In the field survey carried out, it was found that the built reservoir has a smaller storage volume. It has 12.00 m3, for which it may present supply problems in the future. The results obtained from the numerical modeling and on-site survey of the drinking water supply network of Sauco Alto and Chinchaye were compared and analyzed. It was found that the speed obtained from the on-site survey is 90.83% similar to that calculated in the numerical modeling, and the pressure obtained from the survey with respect to the numerical modeling is similar in 96.20%
