Objective: The objective of this study is to determine if the prevalence of dengue in regions is a factor associated with the level of knowledge about dengue in SERUMS doctors, during the period 2023-I and 2023-II. Materials and methods: This study was carried out in a transversal analytical manner, where the participants were SERUMS doctors from the regions of La Libertad and Loreto, during the period 2023-I and 2023-II. Their participation was verified through informed consent, voluntarily, and their responses were recorded by the Google Forms program, obtaining knowledge of the disease, while the prevalence was obtained, according ENDES. Results: This present study included a total of 201 SERUMS doctors, where there was a total of 120 from La Libertad region and 81 from Loreto. It was identified La Libertad being the one with the lowest prevalence, with a level of knowledge of SERUMS doctors about dengue of 42.5% (51) for low level and 21.7% (26) for high level, while, for the Loreto region, with high prevalence, the level of knowledge of doctors SERUMS about dengue is 9.9% (8) for low level and 49.4% (40) for high level, having a significant association of the level of knowledge with the prevalence of the disease (p 0.00). Likewise, the participants had an average age of 28.4 with a SD ± 2.6, with 66.2% (133) of the participants being male. Finally, the variables; paid modality, training on dengue, sex and previous management of dengue have a significant association with the level of knowledge about this pathology, with (p < 0.001), (p < 0.001), (p < 0.001) and (p < 0.001) respectively. Conclusions: The high prevalence of the disease is associated with a higher level of knowledge about dengue in SERUMS doctors in Loreto region
