After an exhaustive analysis of our reality, the problem that we propose in this research work is how much do the teachers of the Initial Education Institutions in the northwest district of Trujillo know about neuroscience in 2017? The general objective is to define the level of knowledge of Neuroscience in the teachers of the Initial Education Institutions of the northwest area of the district of Trujillo, for which we consider four of these institutions such as: IEP San Luis, I.E. No. 215, I.E. New Peru and the I.E. Pestalozzi; with a sample of twenty-two teachers, with a non-experimental design, of an explanatory descriptive type. Thus, after applying our surveys in these institutions and analyzing the results, we arrived at the following conclusions: That the type of information handled by teachers in educational institutions is insufficient regarding the management of information about the brain, its structure and how it works in the child's nervous system. As well as they do not know the location or the functionality of this one, besides the importance in the educational field and the positive impact that this can bring in the development of the learning. Thus, it was also obtained as a second conclusion that the teachers of the educational institutions do not have enough training about neuroscience offered by the universities or the Ministry of Education. In this case only 10% of teachers have training in neuroscience while in the exercise of the teaching function.
