Being our country a cultural territory, with constructive antecedents in our region as the buildings with earth of pre-Inca cultures, we have as a duty to maintain that cultural identity. A good way to do it is to consider adding the constructions with earth to our system of buildings. For this it is necessary to know that the established norms must be fulfilled to cover this issue since it is understood that buildings from the land suffer from a certain vulnerability to seismic and atmospheric factors that is why our research is aimed at knowing a modality of construction with earth, subject to the safety standards imposed. The main objective of this research is to determine the mechanical properties of walls with compacted stacked stabilized earth, using the compression and traction laboratory tests indicated in article 8 of Standard E.080, having as material a site in the district of Moche. Previously, sedimentation, mud and dry resistance tests were performed on the same terrain to verify that the material is optimal for the experiment. Later, molds were made of plywood for walls and pvc molds for cylinders, thus the samples were made by earth were made with an aggregate of lime of 5% and a percentage of humidity of 20%, with a drying time of 28 days. There were certain difficulties in the preparation of the specimens due to certain environmental factors such as the intense sun and strong winds, so we proceeded to allow each sample to dry under a layer of varnish, in order to secure them and facilitate their handling and transfer, then the samples were transported to the laboratory of materials at the Antenor Orrego Private University for the respective tests and thus compare our results with the parameters that the Standard dictates. This study is experimental, which is why we seek to demonstrate that this system of construction of earth walls stabilized with lime in the TAC mode (Compacted Stacked Earth) is optimal for use in our locality according to the norm that governs us. Finally, the results of the tests were obtained, which determined that this new form of earth construction with lime is more resistant than the modalities presented by the standard, therefore it can be concluded that this new modality of eco construction with Land is efficient, as long as we follow step by step the recommendations given by the regulation in terms of foundations, brace and maintenance.
