Centro Integral para el Adulto Mayor en Conache

Abstract

A nivel de la Provincia de Trujillo, y específicamente el Programa de atención al Adulto Mayor bajo responsabilidad de ESSALUD, que brinda servicios e instalaciones a través del CAM y el Centro de Medicina Complementaria, adolece de limitaciones y deficiencias, que no permiten cumplir a cabalidad las necesidades y expectativas del Adulto Mayor en materia de actividades sociorecreativas, productivas y de atención de salud. Se ha llegado a la conclusión que los servicios y programas que brinda ESSALUD para la población Adulta Mayor en Trujillo son muy limitados y no guardan una relación con la infraestructura existente ya que es deficiente e inadecuada para el desarrollo de actividades programadas e incapaz de albergar los servicios de salud, rehabilitación, recreación y alojamiento en un mismo centro; evidenciando la necesidad de incorporar un centro de mayor envergadura que unifique los aspectos enfocados a las necesidades del adulto mayor en un solo punto. Con la propuesta, se busca ampliar la cobertura de atención del CAM-Trujillo, programa PADOMI y el Centro de Medicina Complementaria, por uno que ofrezca estos servicios en una sola infraestructura y a la vez brinden facilidades de Alojamiento para el adulto mayor mejorando así la calidad de vida del adulto mayor en Trujillo.

At the level of the Province of Trujillo, and specifically the Senior Care Program under the responsibility of ESSALUD, which provides services and facilities through the CAM and the Center for Complementary Medicine, it suffers from limitations and deficiencies, which do not fully comply the needs and expectations of the Elderly in matters of socio-recreational, productive and health care activities. It has been concluded that the services and programs provided by ESSALUD for the elderly population in Trujillo are very limited and do not have a relationship with the existing infrastructure since it is deficient and inadequate for the development of scheduled activities and unable to house health, rehabilitation, recreation and accommodation services in the same center; evidencing the need to incorporate a larger center that unifies aspects focused on the needs of the elderly in a single point. With the proposal, it seeks to expand the coverage of CAM-Trujillo, PADOMI program and the Center for Complementary Medicine, by one that offers these services in a single infrastructure and at the same time provide accommodation facilities for the elderly, thus improving quality of life of the elderly in Trujillo.
