Estilos de crianza e inteligencia emocional en estudiantes de una institución educativa de Piura, 2018

Abstract

En la presente investigación se propuso constituir el vínculo entre inteligencia emocional y los estilos de crianza en escolares de un colegio de Piura. El proyecto es descriptivo correlacional debido a que se relacionaron dos variables, que son: Estilos de Crianza e Inteligencia Emocional. 92 estudiantes de una escuela de Piura formaron parte de la población de estudio y de ellos, 73 formaron parte de la muestra. La Escala de estilos de crianza de Steinberg (Lawrence Steinberg) y el Inventario de Inteligencia Emocional de BarOn ICE por (Reuven Bar-On) fueron las herramientas usadas para el fin de esta investigación. A nivel general, las conclusiones evidencian la no correlación entre estas variables; sin embargo, a nivel específico la forma de instrucción más sobresaliente es el control conductual al 19%, y por otro lado la inteligencia emocional resulta baja al 58%.

The main goal of this investigation was to establish the association among parenting styles and emotional intelligence in scholar of a school of Piura. The project is descriptive correlational seeing that the association between two factors will be based, that are: Parenting Styles and Emotional Intelligence. The study population is composed of pupils from a school of Piura that totals 92 students with a sample that is made up of 73. Likewise, the tools used were the Steinberg Parenting Scale (Lawrence Steinberg) and the Inventory of Emotional Intelligence of BarOn ICE by (Reuven Bar-On). The findings at a general level show the lack of correlation between these variables; However, at the specific level, the most predominant parenting style is behavioral control at 19%, and on the other hand emotional intelligence is low at 58%.
