The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between the psychosocial adaptation to pregnancy and the level of anxiety in women who attend in vitro fertilization procedures in a private fertility clinic in the city of Trujillo; That is why it was an observational-correlational investigation, cross-sectional and non-experimental design, in addition a data collection form was used and the prenatal self-assessment questionnaire and the trait-state anxiety inventory (IDARE) were applied. applied to 30 pregnant women who attended in vitro fertilization at the private clinic Fertility Trujillo 2021. The findings showed that there is a significant relationship between psychosocial adaptation and anxiety-state, it was also evidenced that there is no significant relationship between psychosocial adaptation and anxiety -trait, also 53% of pregnant women present a greater psychosocial adaptation to pregnancy, with respect to anxiety levels, anxiety-trait presents a high level of 63% and medium level 37%, in anxiety-trait it presents a level high of 34% and medium level 66%, regarding the psychosocial adaptation to pregnancy according to its dimensions, the maternal role is the most frequent with 97%, according to concern for their own well-being and that of the baby 80%, relationship with the mother 77% and acceptance in the pregnancy 73%, with regard to a lower adaptation in a higher percentage is the role of the couple 47%, concern for the childbirth 33% and the other dimensions for values less than 30%. From this investigation it was concluded that there is a significant relationship between the psychosocial adaptation of pregnancy and the level of anxiety in women who attend the in vitro fertilization procedure at the Fertility Trujillo 2021 private clinic.
