The objective of this research was to determine the frequency of published articles in the undergraduate thesis at the Professional School of Stomatology of the Antenor Orrego Private University of Trujillo between 2010 and 2017. Material and methods: 499 undergraduate thesis in Stomatology that were found in the repository of the Antenor Orrego Private University from 2010-10 to 2017-20 were evaluated to detect which of them were converted to published scientific articles. These articles were identified in the database of the Research Unit of the Stomatology School and analyzed by frequency distribution according to year of publication, area of knowledge, research design, journal, and electronic library. Results: Of the 499 theses evaluated, 18 of them were converted into published articles (3.61%). The years with the highest publication were 2016 and 2017 with 5 articles each (27.68%). The area of knowledge with the highest frequency of articles published was Orthodontics, with 8 articles (44.44%). According to the research design, 50% was observational and the other 50% experimental. The Dental Press Journal of Orthodontics had the highest number of articles published (22.22%). According to the electronic library, Scielo showed more published articles, with 8 articles (44.44%). Conclusion: Only about 4 out of every 100 theses sustained in the Stomatology School of the Antenor Orrego Private University of Trujillo between 2010 and 2017 were published in indexed journals.
