The main objective of this thesis work is to obtain an indicator of the current state or condition of the flexible pavement, located on Huamán Avenue, between Juan Pablo II Avenue and Manuel Seoane Avenue. To achieve this, we are working on the application of the PCI Method for the Surface Evaluation of the Flexible Pavement, with the purpose of informing about its condition, as well as selecting the most appropriate technique to carry out maintenance, reconstruction or rehabilitation of the flexible pavement. According to the Manual prepared by Engineer Luis Ricardo Vásquez Varela, the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method is the most convenient technique to objectively analyze and qualify pavements, whose application results from a standardized procedure and easy implementation. When carrying out the superficial evaluation of the flexible pavement by means of the Pavement Condition Index method, it is obtained as a result that the state of preservation of Huamán Avenue, section between Juan Pablo II Avenue and Manuel Seoane Avenue, is ““REGULAR““ with a PCI of 42.35.
