The general objective of the research was to determine the relationship that exists between personal marketing and employability of UPAO communications graduates in marketing and advertising companies during the pandemic; Trujillo 2020. The research design was cross-sectional correlational and for data collection, a questionnaire of 24 questions was applied to the selected sample population, which was made up of 52 graduates of the 2020 semester. Convenience sampling was used, selecting 5 communication companies focused on marketing and advertising in the city of Trujillo; given that during the pandemic there was greater demand for this communications sector. Finally, to demonstrate the hypothesis, spearman's correlation coefficient was used, through which a moderate positive relationship was demonstrated between personal marketing and employability of UPAO communications graduates in marketing and advertising companies during the pandemic; Trujillo 2020, therefore, the assessment of both variables was regular with a high trend. In this sense, the employers interviewed recognize the professional preparation of the graduates, however, they look for professionals who adapt to all areas of communication sciences within a digital environment.
