The project presented has as a general objective, to determine the condition of the flexible pavement by means of the Benkelman beam for the design of reinforcement in the Avenues; Mansiche and Jesús Nazareth in Trujillo, La Libertad, where the applied methodology is oriented, its contrasting technique is descriptive. In order to execute this project, it began using a 20-year vehicular projection, where we obtained a design from ESAL, which was worked on to determine the type of traffic, resulting in Tp6. Through the application of the PCI methodology, it was possible to know in what conditions the pavement is, based on the failures it presents and at what level of severity they are, obtaining as a result an average PCI of the sample units of 49, the which is classified as pavement in REGULAR condition. Finally, we apply the Benkelman beam method to determine the current situation of the structural package in relation to the subgrade where, as a result, it was found to be in CASE 2 according to the classification given by the highway manual. Once all the results were obtained, the respective design of the reinforcement necessary for this case was carried out, for this it was necessary to know the design ESAL, previously calculated. In conclusion, a 4cm structural reinforcement was obtained for Mansiche avenue and Jesús de Narareth avenue.
