The present research was of a descriptive correlational type, the objective of which was to determine the relationship between the facilitating factors and violence of family members towards the health personnel of the Emergency Service of the Chepén Hospital. The sample consisted of 43 health workers, who met the inclusion criteria; For data collection, a questionnaire developed by the authors; that measured facilitating factors and family violence towards health personnel. The results obtained indicated that the factor associated with the social environment was high in the toxic environment (74.4%), the factor associated with work was high in the delay of care in interconsultations (55.8%) and the factor associated with the aggressor was high in the family member physical and mental exhaustion (68.8%); while, in family violence, 53.5% of physical violence and 72.1% of psychological violence occurred, sexual violence did not occur. It is concluded that, if there is a significant relationship between the facilitating factors and family violence towards the health care worker of the Emergency Service of the Chepén Hospital, 2023; having a p * = 0.001 < 0.05; allowing to accept H1 and deny H0.
