Abstract: El estudio determinó los factores asociados a la prevalencia de
fluorosis dental en escolares de Trujillo - 2023
Material y método: Se realizó una investigación observacional, de corte
transversal, en 341 alumnos de la IE Planeta Azul de Trujillo y se utilizó un
formulario de recolección de datos previamente validado por el índice de Kappa
con un valor de 0.783, así mismo se desarrolló un estudio piloto para obtener la
confiabilidad de 0.791.
Resultados: El 50.4% de los alumnos presentaron fluorosis dental y 49.6% no
la presentaron, se descubrió que la prevalencia era mayor en las mujeres, con
un 25.51% de ellas presentaron fluorosis dental. Según edad,se observó que la
prevalencia era mayor en los niños de entre 09 y 10 años presentaron mayor
prevalencia, con un 52,9% de ellos que presentaban fluororis dental.
Conclusiones: La prevalencia de fluorosis dental en escolares de la IE Planeta
Azul es de 50.4%
