The purpose of this research is to demonstrate how important it is to regulate the selection procedure in contracts for amounts equal to or less than 8 UIT, which will contribute to the development of an equal process for all suppliers who wish to participate in them, and at the same time It will reduce acts of corruption resulting from the absence of regulation, in order to guarantee compliance with the principles of transparency in the contracting processes with the State in Peru. In the present investigation the deductive inductive analysis has been used because this method allows to make the normative inferences between the state contracting law and the internal directives, which are immediate and obligatory application between the state entities, since, it is only governed at the level institutional allowing each official to apply agreed regulations to particular interests, in addition to this as an instrument of validation, interviews have been conducted that have led to the conclusion that contracts equal to or less than 8 UIT must be adhered to the special regulations, in order to that these are regulated by the State Contracting Law, all in search of obtaining optimal and transparent procedures, which would allow it to be regulated within a specific area and avoid legal loopholes. In conclusion, this investigation considers it necessary to regulate contracts for an amount not less than 3 UIT, as previously regulated, with the purpose of avoiding greater scourge during the execution of the selection processes and making a more efficient and public expenditure of quality, since by executing these alternatives it would allow to reduce corruption and turn this struggle as a State and development policy for the country.
