The aim of the current research consisted in decided the satisfaction level of the patients with postoperative nursing care in the surgery department of the Hospital Santa Rosa de Piura 2019, the sample consisted in 35 hospitalized patients in the surgery department of the Hospital Santa Rosa, it been applied an instrument of survey with the structure of 3 dimensions, 11 indicators coupled with 31 items. The following outcomes were obtained, on the one hand, the 3% of the patients manifested the postoperative nursing care in the surgery department is null; on the other hand, the 13% is occasionally as well as the 84% is constantly. The outcomes by dimension are; the 3% manifested that their physiological needs, security and protection never been attendant as well as love and belonging; the 13% occasionally and the 84% constantly; on the other hand, the 4% manifested that their expectations of accessibility, agility, wellness as well as comfort and communication never been satisfied, the 15% occasionally and the 81% constantly; furthermore, the 2% manifested that their perceptions of availability, courtesy, trust and competition never been satisfied, the 11% occasionally and the 87% constantly. It is concluded that patients of the surgery department feel satisfied with the postoperative care received.
