The objective of this thesis was to determine what extent the return of the balance in favor of the exporter influences the financial situation of Agroindustrias José & Luis SAC, Chepén - 2019. The research is explanatory of a pre-experimental type, the contrast design was a single linear group. The analysis of the financial statements and complementary information evaluated the financial situation of the company without and with the application of refund of the balance in favor of the exporter. The results show that the company meets the main requirements for requesting a refund of the balance in favor of the exporter and that it only requests it once a year. Likewise, it is realized that the financial situation of the company is not favorable because it presents a delicate structural cash balance, with a return on net assets of 9.11% compared to the cost of capital of 18.38%, which indicates that the company is not releasing cash. It is concluded that the return of the balance in favor of the benefit served to cancel short-term debt and financial debt. Finally, it is confirmed that the return of the balance in favor of the exporter significantly influences the financial situation of Agroindustrias José & Luis S.A.C., Chepén – 2019.
