The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between psychological well being and life satisfaction in psychology students of a private university in Piura 2021. The research is of a substantive type with a descriptive correlational design and a population of 220 psychology students between the third and tenth academic cycle. Ryff's Psychological Well-Being Scale and the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) were applied. A statistically highly significant direct correlation was obtained between the variables r= .735; p< .000. On the other hand, 81% of students are at a medium level of psychological well-being and the correlation between the dimensions of psychological well-being and life satisfaction are statistically significant, highlighting the dimension of mastery of the environment r= .699; p< .000. It was concluded that psychological well- being significantly influences the life satisfaction of the students, which means that the higher the positive valuation of their psychological well-being in the different aspects of life, the more balanced the internal and external aspects will be, causing a positive recognition in the comparison of their expectations with life and their reality, resulting in being satisfied with life satisfaction
