The main objective of this technological research was to determine the validity evidences of the Perceived Stress Scale EEP - 14 in the healthcare personnel of a hospital of the Ministry of Health - Cajabamba. The sample made up of 241 people of both sexes, ages ranged from 23 to 69 years, and who work as healthcare personnel at the Cajabamba Ministry of Health hospital. The instrument to be validated bears the original name Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) created by Cohen, Kamarck and Mermelstein in 1983. Evidence of construct validity was determined through the item test correlation coefficient, obtaining values greater than .20; Likewise, a confirmatory factor analysis was performed, reporting satisfactory fit indices (RMSEA = .06; GFI = .922; AGFI = .892; CFI = .976) and factor loadings in all items greater than .30; Regarding the reliability by internal consistency, for the total scale an omega coefficient of .952 was found and for eustress (ω = .937) and distress (ω = .924); Finally, the percentile norms and cut-off points were carried out, concluding that the Perceived Stress Scale EEP-14 is valid and suitable for use on healthcare personnel in the study context..
