The general objective of the present research is to determine the influence of the game workshop on the development of autonomy of children of three years of initial education, of the I.E. N° 2281, Trujillo 2022. The design is pre experimental and applied; The study sample is made up of 26 three year old students from the “Discoverers” classroom of the I.E. No. 2281 of Trujillo, with registration valid in 2022. The research technique was observation and the instrument was the rating scale. The validity of the instrument was estimated through the judgment of three teachers, who evaluated the instrument based on the analysis of its wording. Reliability was through pilot testing. The result that corresponds to the objective, based on the Wilcoxon statistical test, a very significant difference in Autonomy is identified between the results of the pretest and posttest. It was concluded that there is a very significant difference between the game workshop and autonomy. The set objective was achieved, since the interpretation of the data reveals a positive change in the level of autonomy of three year old children in the I.E. No. 2281 of Trujillo during the year 2022, coinciding with the implementation of the game workshop. Before the intervention, most children exhibited a low level of autonomy, indicating challenges in areas such as decision making and self regulation. However, the posttest results indicate a significant improvement
