The present study was carried out with the objective of determining the prevalence of Lumbar Thoracic Hemivertebra and the factors associated with the brachiocephalic canines. The diagnostic technique consists of a CT scan of the spine. The number of patients evaluated was 68 canines of brachiocephalic breeds. The study was carried out with canines that, according to the clinical records, were of the brachycephalic breed, older than 4 months and of either sex; and patients were excluded canines with neoplasms diagnosed at the thoraco-lumbar spine level were avoided. Sampling was carried out by consecutive cases, where canines whose owners had accepted their participation through informed consent were evaluated. The prevalence of thoracolumbar hemivertebra without the need to present clinical signs was 77.94%. Regarding the breeds, an association was found, with the English bulldog and French bulldog breeds having the highest percentage of positivity of 90.0% and 82.35% respectively; of which the French Bulldog breed is the one with the highest prevalence of this pathology, it is even associated with its presentation. The results showed that both age and sex are not risk factors in this pathology
