Dependencia emocional y rasgos depresivos en estudiantes de una carrera profesional de una universidad de Piura

Abstract

La finalidad de la presente investigación, es principalmente indagar si hay una relación entre la Dependencia Emocional y Rasgos depresivos en estudiantes de una carrera profesional de una Universidad de Piura. Es sustantiva de tipo correlacional, la cual está constituida por 174 estudiantes, de los cuales sus edades oscilan entre los 18 a 25 años; se utilizaron los siguientes instrumentos: Cuestionario de Dependencia Emocional de Lemos & Londoño, adaptación de Edmundo Arévalo Luna (2013), evalúa en base a una escala general y seis indicadores, prueba que cuenta con 36 ítems; y el “Inventario de rasgos depresivos en estudiantes de educación superior”, compuesto por 50 ítems distribuidos en tres indicadores respectivamente. Resultados indican que sí se encuentra relación significativa entre la Dependencia emocional y los Rasgos depresivos, enfatizando así la significancia estadística entre ambas variables referente a la muestra mencionada.

The purpose of this research is mainly to investigate whether there is a relationship between Emotional Dependency and Depressive Traits in students of a professional career at a University of Piura. It is substantive of correlational type, which is made up of 174 students, of which their ages range from 18 to 25 years; The following instruments were used: Lemos & Londoño Emotional Dependency Questionnaire, adapted by Edmundo Arévalo Luna (2013), evaluate based on a general scale and six indicators, a test that has 36 items; and the ““Inventory of depressive traits in higher education students““, made up of 50 items distributed in three indicators respectively. The results indicate that a significant relationship is found between Emotional Dependence and Depressive Traits, thus emphasizing the statistical significance between both reference variables to the aforementioned sample.
