n the national reality, consumer law has developed over the years, with the vital function of regulating the relations of life that arise between supplier and consumer within the framework of a consumer relationship. The general objective of this research work is to determine the legal foundations that support the extrajudicial conciliation in consumer rights as a requirement of admissibility for the imposition of infractions in air transportation. The research is of a qualitative, non-experimental nature, simple descriptive design. For this purpose, the following question has been formulated: What are the legal grounds for the extrajudicial conciliation in consumer rights as a requirement for admissibility in air transport infractions? In view of which it is concluded that: The legal grounds that will support the regulation of extrajudicial conciliation as a requirement of admissibility in air transport complaints are the principle of procedural economy, celerity, right to contract and resolve a conflict for lawful purposes. Likewise, it constitutes a more efficient way to resolve conflicts in consumer protection matters, provides greater benefits for the actors in the consumer relationship, and guarantees the rights of the citizen. Likewise, it is considered to present as a research proposal the regulation of conciliation as an admissibility requirement in air transport services for the protection of consumer rights
