With the aim of evaluating the effect of saponified marigold in diets with high levels of rice dust, on the productive behavior and pigmentation of the egg yolk, 350 Babcock Brown hens were evaluated from week 32 to 36, housed in each unit. experimental with 14 birds each (two cages of seven birds each), distributed under a completely randomized design with 2 x 2 factorial arrangement, with four treatments plus one control (M20PA9, M20PA18, M40PA9, M40PA18 and a control) and five repetitions The hens were fed diets based on corn, soy cake, amino acids, with the addition of saponified marigold (20 and 40 ppm) and rice powder (9 and 18%), diets containing rice powder and saponified marigold They were supplemented with multienzyme complex. The variables evaluated were: production, weight, mass and pigmentation of the yolk of the egg yolk. The results were analyzed through the analysis of variance and the averages compared by the Tukey test. The average productive indexes, found for production, weight and egg mass, did not show significant interaction (p> 0.05) associated with levels of rice dust and saponified marigold; Likewise, average indices, found at 15 days and the total period, showed highly significant interaction (p <0.01), for egg yolk pigmentation. Concluding that it is possible to use diets with high content of rice powder and saponified marigold supplemented with multienzyme complex.
