The research addresses a current and very interesting topic such as work stress and its relationship with the organizational climate, the purpose of the research being to analyze this relationship in the Economically Active Population in the Trujillo district, for which it was developed a study with a quantitative approach, following a positivist paradigm, based on the measurement of the study variables, being the design used, a non-experimental design, of a descriptive type to correlate, and according to temporality, cross-sectional. The study population was constituted by the Busy EAP of the Trujillo district, which is the number of 616,930, the sample being 384 individuals according to the size of the population, that is, a simple random sampling was used. Two instruments were applied to the study sample to collect the data corresponding to the research, these instruments being the Maslach work stress inventory and the organizational climate questionnaire (EMCO), which were subjected to a reliability analysis. The results of the research allow us to conclude that the variables work stress and organizational climate are related to each other, in the Employed EAP of the Trujillo district, the same that is expressed, by means of the Spearman correlation coefficient, for which it takes the A value of -0.982, a value that shows that there is an inverse and high correlation, this means that the lower the work stress, the better the organizational climate.
