The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between eating habits and neonatal maternal complications in the Hospital Tomás Lafora- Guadalupe 2023. Our research was of descriptive design of relation, transversal. a sample of 84 pregnant women was used. The following results were presented: 40% of pregnant women had adequate eating habits and 60% had the following maternal complications in pregnancy: over weight with moderate anemia 17% followed by obesity plus mild anemia with 13% and with 11% obesity plus moderate anemia, we also have obesity plus UTI and with 10%, the following neonatal complications also occurred: 26% macrosomia and 8% circular cord, and 45% have no complications in newborns. Concluding that there is no relationship between eating habits and neonatal maternal complications in the Hospital Tomás Lafora- Guadalupe 2023.
