the two fasts and two transitions, for the improvement of the irrigation system Caserío Uchucubamba, district of Sitabamba, Province of Santiago de Chuco, as a conduction system in the hydraulic scheme of the irrigation infrastructure is located within the hydraulic scheme at 2,586.41 m.a.s.l. for a flow rate of 0.616 m3 / s. The following hydraulic components of the rapid have been designed: A section of rectangular channel, the transition of entrance and control section, an inclined section of rectangular section of the rapid, the trajectory, the pronounced section of entry to the pool, the pool Trapezoidal section heat sink and a lined channel with a terminal control section. Using the fasts v1.0 software, the runoff has been simulated and the characteristics of the hydraulic profile calculated: speed, tie, rise in energy level and conjugated tie rods before and after the hydraulic jump. In addition, the following verifications have been made to the hydraulic design of the rapid, such as: Verification of flotation due to the subpressure effect, Verification of the hydraulic jump, Verification of the sliding force, Verification of the effect of tubing and Verification of the possibility of production of waves in the rapid.The hydraulic design of the rapid in La Unión, allows to conclude that along an inclined section of the rectangular section of the rapid, it is guaranteed that there will not be unstable flow. The designed pool controls the hydraulic jump and does not have flotation problems due to the underpressure. Likewise, in the hydraulic design, as far as possible, the presence of horizontal curves in the line of the conduit should be avoided.
