To determine the effectiveness of educational methods on oral health in children from 8 to 10 years of age of the I. E. Everardo Zapata Santillana - 2022. Material and method: The present investigation was descriptive, pre-experimental and longitudinal. It was made up of 140 students from 8 to 10 years old from I. E. Everardo Zapata Santillana. A basic questionnaire was evaluated and the population was divided into two groups where the first group was given the educational method of the video and the second was given the infographic as an educational method and ended with the evaluation of the basic questionnaire to diagnose the effectiveness of each educational method. Results: It was found that the educational video managed to increase the level of knowledge from 0% to 5.41% at the outstanding level, from 0% to 11.43% at the very good level, from 17.41% to 32.86% at the good level, from 21.43% to 64.29% at the sufficient level; On the other hand, in the insufficient level it was possible to decrease from 61.43% to 2.86% and in the infographic it was also possible to increase the level of knowledge from 0% to 1.43% in the outstanding level, from 0% to 2.86% in the very good level, from 12.86% to 20% at the good level, from 14.29% to 40% at the sufficient level; On the other hand, at the insufficient level, it was possible to decrease from 72.86% to 35.7%. Conclusions: The two educational methods demonstrated that they were very effective in the level of knowledge of oral health.
