Toxoplasmosis is one of the main zoonotic diseases, it has around 30% prevalence in the global population. In developing countries this value is usually higher, in the case of Peru different studies have been carried out where it is between 54 and 89%. It does not present significant clinical symptoms and only in the case of an immunocompromised person or a pregnant woman can they generate neurological problems for both the infected and the fetus. The factors associated with this disease are multiple and have to do with hygiene, eating habits, contact with pets or animals for food and their products, among others. Therefore, one of the main populations that are in constant risk are the students and professionals of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry, due to their exposure during their training and professional practice. For this reason, this research sought to determine the seroprevalence of this disease and what factors are associated with it. For this, an analytical cross-sectional study was carried out, in which 180 blood samples were taken from students and graduates of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry from the Antenor Orrego Private University, grouping them according to their level of exposure: From first to fifth cycle, from sixth to tenth cycle and graduates; where each group had a quantity of 60 people. For the statistical analysis, the Chi Square statistics, Fisher's exact test for categorical variables and the U of Mann Whitney test were applied for two samples of independent discrete quantitative variables; To find the OR value, a binary logistic regression analysis was applied. The results obtained were that for IgG there was a seroprevalence of 20.57% and for IgM of 27.59%. There was no association with any of the factors evaluated, there was only an association with IgM with respect to its grouping, where students in the sixth to tenth cycle presented an OR of 3.78 (95% CI of 1,373 - 10,418) and graduates with an OR of 4.89 (95% CI 1,343 - 17,870). This is because they have a greater exposure for the activities they carry out. Not having found an association with the factors provided by the literature, it is necessary to re-determine the transmission routes of this disease for this population.
