Determine the factors associated with Burnout Syndrome in health workers at the Belén of Trujillo hospital during the SARS-CoV-2 Pandemic period. Material and Methods: A cross-sectional study based on virtual respondents was carried out, where the study population consisted of 170 health workers (38 medical assistants, 33 resident doctors, 91 nurses and 8 obstetricians) who continued to work during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic period between the months of August to September 2020. For the analytical statistics, the Chi-square test (X2 ) was used, the Odds Ratio was analyzed to establish the relationship of sociodemographic and labor factors with Burnout Syndrome. In addition, multivariate analysis was performed, using logistic regression. Results: 36% (n = 61) of the total population had Burnout syndrome. The variables that showed significance (p <0.05) were: ““type of worker““ (p = 0.002) and the ““labor area““ (p = 0.010). By means of logistic regression, the variable “medical worker” represented a risk factor for Burnout syndrome (ORa = 2.97; 95% CI: 1.454 - 6.076; P = 0.003). In addition, the clinical area had a 3.8 greater risk of presenting the syndrome compared to the other work areas (ORa = 3.8; 95% CI: 1.157 - 12.494: P = 0.028). Conclusions: Work-related factors are associated with Burnout Syndrome in health workers at the Belén of Trujillo hospital during the SARS-CoV-2 Pandemic period.
