The main purpose of this research work is to give a comparative analysis between Drywall and Traditional construction systems, based on a basic module in the city of Trujillo – La Libertad, in addition to that, we carried out field work where we are base on the construction of a wall with the same dimensions which served t osee the advantages and disadvantage of the different construction systems. The type of research is Descriptive - Comparative. For this purpose, we found 4 important factors at the time of the execution of the work, which are the cost of the work, the time spent on the work, the structural loads and a static seismic analysis; which were applied both in the project module and the work of the wall in the laboratory. In costs we found the value of m2 in a module, where the Drywall was S/.804.57 soles and the Traditional was S/.1381.37 soles, in the time used for the Drywall system was 48 working days and the Traditional was 75 working days, in the measurement of loads, using the software ETABS V.2016 we found that the Drywall system has a load of 16.78 tn and the Traditional system has 43.66 tn. For the field work we also found these important comparative points, in the cost for the realization of a masonry wall with 2 columns was S/.1022.37 soles and in the Drywall system it cost S/.578. 62 soles, in the time it was 24 hours and a half for the realization of the complete masonry wall and for the wall in Drywall it only took us 6 hours with a crew of 2 people in both construction systems, and we also found the total loads of the masonry wall which is 2715.87 kg and in the Drywall system is 227.01 kg, which the area of the wall is 10.66 m2 in both cases. In conclusion, we determined that the Drywall construction system has more advantages than the traditional system, but not better because each construction system has its advantages and disadvantages when performing different types of work.
