The aim of this research thesis is to evaluate the variation in the value of the CBR parameter of a granular soil after the incorporation of different percentages (2.0%, 2.5%, 3.0% and 3.5%) of PVC-SAP particles, determining if The granular soil can be used in shaping the structure of the sub-base of a pavement. The tests were carried out with material extracted from the Calle E Prolongation, located in Urb San Isidro, Trujillo. These tests were carried out in the soil laboratory of the Antenor Orrego Private University and in the Geotechnical Laboratory and Testing of Construction Materials Huertas Ingenieros S.A.C; following the rules that govern each experiment. A total of 15 CBR tests were performed on the extracted sample, 3 unchanged CBR and the remaining 12 were added different percentages (2.0%, 2.5%, 3.0% and 3.5%) of PVC-SAP particles with respect to the dry weight of the extracted sample, to determine the optimal dosage of PVC-SAP particles. The results indicate that the unaltered sample has a CBR of 35.00%, and after the incorporation of the particles of PVC-SAP tubes the CBR value increases, reaching the maximum CBR of 41.00%, (6% more with respect to the unchanged CBR). ) said value is obtained with 3% of PVC-SAP particles. I n addition, the unit price analysis was carried out to obtain the PVC-SAP particles per kg both by hand (S / 166.52) and industrial (S / 7.65) Likewise, a comparative analysis of unit prices was carried out in which it was obtained that the cost per m2 for item 7.02 Subbase Granular, e = 20 without particles of PVC-SAP has a cost of S /. 8.08, while incorporating said particles has a cost of S /. 88.02, meaning an increase of 10.9 times the value of the game. t is concluded that the CBR value of a granular soil after incorporation of PVC-SAP particles undergoes a positive variation; given that the material altered with 3% of PVC-SAP particles reaches a CBR> 40%, complying with the provisions of the MTC E 132 norm. However, from the point of view Cost benefit is not the best option to be used as a material in the conformation of the structure of the sub-base of a pavement.
