The purpose of this research work is to develop the scope management plan in Geotechnics, which is within the scope of a Retaining Wall project in the Pasaje La Paz - AAHH Rafael Chacón - Villa María del Triunfo - Lima. In addition, it seeks to demonstrate its viability, developing the work packages of the plan, and implementing the BIM methodology in those that can be worked under this approach. A mixed methodology was used, since the results presented in this essay are both quantitative and qualitative. Also, the type of research is applied with a descriptive research design, observable in the development of its results. Taking as a reference what is stipulated by the Project Management Institute (2018), the scope management plan in Geotechnics was carried out, using the WBS previously created for the “Retaining Wall“ project in the Pasaje La Paz, obtaining that it was It was divided into 5 phases: Analysis of the previous information, Site inspection, Preliminary investigation, Investigation for design and Verification. Then, with the 35 work packages of the EDT in Geotechnics already defined, they were developed under the BIM methodology, finally using the WBS Schedule Pro software, MS Project, Excel Macros and GEO5 software, as work tools that add value to project management. Thus, it was defined that the management plan for the scope of a project or a component can be developed under the BIM methodology approach, being able to add value to each of the work packages, while check them constantly.
