Objective: To know the association between fatalistic behavior and the presence of chronic-metabolic diseases during a coronavirus pandemic in the 2020 Piura population. Methods: A prospective cross-sectional analytical study was carried out with direct data collection through a primary source and use of the Google Forms digital platform within the immediate care clinic (CAI) between October 2020 and January 2021 during the consultation process. in those patients who agreed with prior informed consent. Results: 374 patients with chronic metabolic diseases participated, with a mean age of 55.02 years and the most frequent age ranges between 46 to 55 years (150 and a mean of 50.3 years) and 56 to 65 years (110 records and a mean of 60.39 years). Patients with Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus 2 were found with 76 records (20.32%), patients with Diabetes Mellitus 2 and Dyslipidemias, 53 cases (14.17%) were found and participants ending with the presence of the 3 diseases were detected in 35 positive records ( 9.35)%), finally finding an association between fatalistic behavior and the presence of chronic-metabolic diseases during a coronavirus pandemic in the Piurana population; 46.52% of the participants (174 records) have moderate fatalistic perception levels and finally 5.61% (21 records) have high fatalistic perception. Conclusion: There is an association between fatalistic behavior and the presence of chronic-metabolic diseases during a coronavirus pandemic in the Piurana population
