In order to determine the social factors associated with the abandonment of prenatal care in pregnant women at the Bellavista I-4 Sullana-Piura-2021 health center, a case-control study was carried out; in a sample of 210 pregnant women divided into 105 cases and 105 controls, to whom a questionnaire of social factors was applied, with a reliability according to Crobach's Alpha of 0.801. it was found that the obstetric characteristics: age ranges from 19 to 35 years with 42.9% cases and 57.1% controls. Parity that prevails is from 02 to 05 previous births with 36.2% cases and 39% controls had 01 previous birth. The intergenesic period is from 02 to 05 years with 48.6% cases and 41% controls. The first prenatal care was performed during the first trimester (<=12ws) with 56.2% cases and 48.6% controls. The abandonment of prenatal care occurred during the second trimester (13 to 27 SS of gestation) with 55.2% cases. The number of prenatal care performed was between 02 and 05 care with 61.9% cases and 56.2% controls. The presence of abandonment of prenatal care is 27.7% pregnant compared to 72.3% pregnant women who completed their prenatal care. In our research, it was determined that the social factor of single marital status with OR= 2.087 CI95% 1.117;3.9 p=0.02 has a significant difference, which is why it was associated with the abandonment of prenatal care
