The purpose of this research was to determine the evaluation of the antibiotic prescription in students of the Oral Surgery area of the Private University Antenor Orrego, 2019-I. It is a prospective, transverse, descriptive, prolific and observational study. With a population of 81 students of both genders of Oral Surgery I, II and III of the stomatological clinic of the Private University Antenor Orrego (UPAO)- Trujillo. The data collection technique applied was the survey, while the instrument was a questionnaire, which consisted of 20 closed questions and evaluated the evaluation of the antibiotic prescription, referred to a similar previous study conducted with a different population. Statistical analysis was performed with one-dimensional and two-dimensional frequency distribution tables with their absolute and relative values, and with their appropriate graphs. It was found that 84.0% of students have an insufficient prescription rating, 12.3% have a rating considered sufficient and only 3.7% have a prescription rating considered good. It was also found that the age of the students was related to their assessment of the antibiotic prescription, since the higher the assessment, the lower it was and considered insufficient. Another important result found is that the gender variable did not show any statistically significant relationship.
