The present qualitative research work seeks to know how human resources perceive the management of organizational ethics and if this impacts the profitability of companies. In principle, through the study of cases we have analyzed the opinion of heads of Human Resources in Peruvian companies in relation to five areas of interest on organizational ethics and profitability: understanding of the concept of ethics versus organizational ethics, scope of the organizational ethics, scope of ethics in the management of Human Resources, ethical behavior of the leader and ethical relationship - profitability. The results indicate that for the leaders of Human Resources the organizational ethic is directly related to the values and is a fundamental factor in the strategic planning of the organization because it impacts the profitability of the same. However, sufficient practices and / or policies have not been implemented nor have their own indicators been established that allow them to measure, evaluate and propose improvements in the ethical management of their processes. Finally, from the perspective of Human Resources, the responsibility of monitoring compliance with ethical policies is the responsibility of the leaders, since they consider that they are the reflection of the organizations and the example to follow of the entire organization. We believe that this research will generate more discussion about the relevance of the management of organizational ethics and a reflection on the role we assume as leaders and professionals of Human Resources.
