Abstract: Trueque Gamers nace con el objetivo de conectar a los diversos consumidores de videojuegos en el Perú, por ser una industria que en los últimos años ha seguido una tendencia positiva, que mueve alrededor de 138 millones de dólares anuales en el país, ubicándose en la posición 49 a nivel mundial. El proyecto inició con el estudio de mercado con el objetivo analizar al sector de videojuegos en el Perú, el comportamiento de los consumidores por la variedad y desarrollo que existe en el mercado local e internacional.
En el Perú el 60% de Gamers son hombres y el 40% mujeres, de los cuales el 32% juega en plataformas de consolas, por ejemplo: Play Station, XBOX, Nintendo 64, entre otros. La industria de videojuegos estimó que hasta el año 2018 existía 2,500 millones de gamers a nivel mundial y en América Latina más de 49 millones de gamers, la misma que ira incrementada año tras año. Asimismo, en Latinoamérica se genera el 3.6% del total de 137, 900 millones de dólares en el mundo por ingresos de videojuegos. Para el primer año de operación, Trueque Gamers espera captar el 50% de su target que asciende a 23,682 personas; las cuales fueron fijadas en los NSE A y B y en las zonas 6 y 7 comprendido en los rangos de edades entre 18 a 35 años.

The video game industry estimated that until 2018 there were 2.500 million gamers worldwide and in Latin America more than 49 million gamers, the same that will increase year after year.
