Currently the Peruvian sector has been very reluctant to adapt the UX in their company and their products, and that is because implementing a solution based on UX involves an understanding of its value and culture in UX. In an investigation carried out, it was identified that the companies in South America that have tried to implement areas of UX have done so by tracing the factory model, where the roles are separated and work in hierarchical silos. They treat their UX projects as something that comes “before“ the implementation process, and in practice is nothing more than the same graphic makeup as always, only with Material Design. There is no closeness or contact with users, there is no agile culture, everything is delegated. Thus, the idea of proposing a reference methodology was born, but not only of UX but also of disciplines that, although they have many years in the global market, are emerging in Latin America as User Interface (UI) and Interaction Design (IxD). To achieve the objective, a series of steps will be followed. In the first place, the existing UX methodologies will be described in detail and the most used UI and IxD techniques will be investigated. Then, an analysis will be carried out to consolidate the techniques and group them in different phases, each one with a delimited scope and the roles for the execution of the techniques. Subsequently, the proposed methodology will be designed, and a guide will be prepared for validation with expert judgment. For the validation, a series of success criteria will be determined that will allow us to know the result of the methodology. Using this methodology, a proof of concept will be documented for the development of applications in the versions of smartphones and smartwatches.
