The main goal of this thesis is to develop a proposal of improvement in AJEPER, one of the largest multinationals in the world dedicated to manufacturing beverages in Peru, the objective is to increase the production productivity of the line No 22, which has some problems, mainly due to routine (production) and equipment (support) stops, which represent 82.19% of the total stops according to the OEE. The first chapter exposes the main research articles releted to applying Lean and Lean Manufactuirg methodology and tools such as SMED, 5S, standardization and time indicators and OEE and its application to similar problems to the improvement proposal in companies around the world, likewise its successful application The second chapter describes an evaluates each of the five production process of line 22, (blower, filler, labeller, packaging and palletizing) taking into account the OEE indicator of the company. In addition, this chapter shows the problem, analysis of causality and the priorization metodolgy. As a result, the biggest waste of time is the cleaning process of the filling machine and the format change process of the blower on which the improvement proposals will be applied. The third chapter focuses in the improvement proposals for the productivity increase by reducing unproductive times with the information provided by the company. Finally in the last chapter, the conclusions and recommendations are presented, in which reveals the savings obtained and the recovery time of the proposal.
