In the Peruvian jungle one of the main problems that affects the development of a paving project is the constant rainfall that is unpredictable in magnitude and intensity because it causes floods and paralyzes of the works resources that affect the profit margins or generate losses for the contractor company This work aims to increase the productivity of labor and equipment in a paving project in the Peruvian jungle with a pavement formed by soil-cement base and a rolling surface composed of geocell and gravel. Additionally, this pavement proposal will demonstrate that the use of management tools is necessary in the process of execution of the work. In chapter 2 we will develop the theoretical basis of productivity and pavements. Next in chapter 3, we will make a list of the projects in the Peruvian jungle where there have been delays and / or paralysis due to rain. One of the solution alternatives is the proposal that we will develop in chapter 4, which will indicate the steps to follow to improve productivity in the construction process and the steps in the application of management tools such as the value gained, index of productivity and gap analysis. In chapter 5, the steps indicated in the previous chapter are applied in a project that presented cost overruns and delays.
