The company chosen for this study is Prosegur S.A. a multinational that provides all-round security services within its three business units: Prosegur Cash, Prosegur Security and Prosegur Alarmas. The company started operations in Spain in the seventy’s and gradually expanded globally starting operations in Peru at the beginning of the 80’s. The present study will be developed in one of the business units: Prosegur Security. The present study seeks, with the creation of a new area called Planning and Control of Services (PCS), to make a plan of service capacity that would be shared between the three departments involved: Commercial, Operations and Human Resources with the objective to reduce the penalties paid improve the level of service and the company image. Finally, this study will increase the service capacity level of the company by improving the management of the private security guards staff replacement process; letting the Operations Department be focused on their core business. In other words, they will be able to operate with timely information and availability of resources (AVP’s) whenever needed.
