The present research studies the desirability, feasibility and viability of a business project based on home care for cancer patients who require palliative care. This service is for all the patients who live in metropolitan Lima, and who have the financial availability to acquire this type of service. The benefit of this project is that it includes home visits to provide general medical care, pain therapy, sedation, management of complications, nutritional support, psychological support and coaching for the patient or for the family who is around them. The needs of this service was established through a survey of 233 families in the AB sector, of which 82% would opt for the service, it also shows a willingness to pay for it. From the financial point of view, it is expected to initially reach 10% of the total potential market generating an annual sale of around 1.2 million soles in the first year, achieving a financially attractive VAN and IRR, which demonstrates the profitability and viability of the present business model. This research gives the possibility of taking the project a national level, seeking for public hospitals to reimbursement, or private through the health provider companies, given the important social impact that means implementing this type of care models in health in the country and given that there is an unmet demand at the national level due to the growing prevalence of cancer in Peru in recent years, and the scarce offer of palliative care at home.
