The following thesis work has as objective to analyze and explain the different income modes and development strategies used by foreign enterprises when they participate in the Peruvian market; in this case, the flexible packaging sector through a case study. For information gathering, primary sources, selective interviews and secondary sources, such as annual reports, and specialized thesis were used. After collecting information, it was proceeded to analyze the different income modes of international enterprises focused in the flexible packaging market. The analysis was made through the benchmarking tool, which helped to know entry methods and development strategies of transnational corporations that currently operate inside the Peruvian market. Included in the general aspects of this work are that main entry methods used by foreign enterprises that participate in the Peruvian flexible packaging sector are acquisition (brownfield), commercial distribution centers and Greenfield. The most used development strategies are: market development, diversifying, market penetration, product development, horizontal integration, cost leadership, transnational strategies and differentiation.
