Estrategia para mejorar el proceso de conservación de los documentos administrativos del Registro Nacional de Identificación y Estado Civil - RENIEC

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó en el Registro Nacional de Identificación y Estado Civil (RENIEC) y, en el Archivo General de la Nación (AGN) en su calidad de ente rector del Sistema Nacional de Archivos; teniendo como objetivo proponer una estrategia para mejorar la conservación de los documentos administrativos, generados en el RENIEC en el cumplimiento de sus funciones. Este trabajo consta de cinco capítulos, a saber: Capítulo I: El marco teórico, se presentan los conceptos fundamentales sobre el tema de investigación. Capítulo II: Metodología de la Investigación, donde se ha elaborado un estudio a través de la teoría fundamentada acerca de los procesos técnicos archivísticos y cuan relevante es el uso de la tecnología para la custodia y conservación de los documentos, tomando como población de estudio una muestra de veinte (20) personas. Capítulo III: Análisis de Datos y Resultados: se analizarán los aspectos relacionados con el tema de investigación, con el fin de lograr nuestros objetivos estratégicos. Capítulo IV: Discusión de Resultados: se presentan los resultados de la investigación, a partir de la aplicación de la teoría fundamentada. Finalmente, en el Capítulo V: Conclusiones y Recomendaciones: se presentan conclusiones y recomendaciones con respecto a los objetivos con las que se espera contribuir a la conservación de los documentos del RENIEC.

The present research work was carried out in the « Registro Nacional de Identificación y Estado Civil » (National Registry of Identification and Civil Status - RENIEC) and in the « Archivo General de la Nación » (General Archive of the Nation - AGN) in its capacity as governing body of the National Archives System; having as objective to propose a strategy to improve the conservation of the administrative documents, generated in the RENIEC in the fulfillment of its functions. This work consists of five chapters, as follow: Chapter I: The Theoretical Framework, the fundamental concepts on the subject of investigation are presented. Chapter II: Research Methodology, where a study has been made through grounded theory about archival technical processes and how relevant is the use of technology for the custody and conservation of documents, taking as a study population a sample of twenty (20) people. Chapter III: Data Analysis and Results: the aspects related to the research topic will be analyzed, in order to achieve our strategic objectives. Chapter IV: Discussion of Results: the results of the research are presented, based on the application of the grounded theory. Finally, in Chapter V: Conclusions and Recommendations: conclusions and recommendations are presented regarding the objectives with which it is expected to contribute to the conservation of RENIEC documents.
